Picture of James from his new telemovie The Pierre Heist. This forum may not be work safe(slash-y banners). No pic reposting, but I assume the link is okay to spread around. You have to scroll down the thread a bit.

The banner isn't TOO naughty, it's the icons you gotta worry about. ;) Not just Angel/Spike lovers there, there's a great Spuffy discussion thread, not to mention the Xander/Spikers, Fred/Spike and whoever else you can think of paired with Spike. We all just love James...and he looks fine in that Tuxedo.

This movie sounds good from description (Editted: In case anyone wasn't aware, he's playing the lead, Bobby Comfort) and the Tuxedo isn't one of those light blue ones (that we feared) knowing this takes place in the seventies.

I don't have anything insightful to add - just a fangirl comment on how nice James looks in a tux. Can't wait for the movie. I hope it's better than most tele-flicks.
He does look very spiffy in that tux!
Got to add my approval of the tux.
I've never seen Jm in a tux before, I waited all season long lsat year for Spike to put on a W&H suit. Guess this is good enough.
Crap! That banner at the top freaked me out. That is all
what network is this telemovie going to air on?
what network is this telemovie going to air on?
USA network. It has apparently got some decent original productions under its belt, and some excellent series.

Adding my shallow vote for the tux. Very glad they decided not to go for the seventies look :)
My goodness, that boy does clean up nice.

::revels in the shallow::
I will agree to the USA thing -- their series are a cut above other similar cable offerings, i.e. Monk and The Dead Zone, though I'm not sure about the telemovie front.
nychick - me too - especially the picture of David rubbing his hand on Jame's chest - just icky to me but to each his/her own
In defense of CDS, they ship Spike with everyone there. It's all about James.. Also, Spike and Angel aren't icky, they are canon (Episode 5:21 ATS)

Really, you can look at the CDS banner and know that this board has a sense of humor.
"Also, Spike and Angel aren't icky, they are canon (Episode 5:21 ATS)"

That's right because "There was that one time..."

To me, that one flashback scene where Angelus holds Spike's hand into the sunlight says it all. There was just so much subtext going on in that moment!

Actually, I'm for Spander all the way! I've actually read some really good fanfic that explores many a theory on just why THOSE two never got along! LOL.

Oh yeah, back on topic, nice pic. Hopefully it's real - cause I'm happy to NOT see the official "Baby Blue Swingers Leisure Suit of Monkey Love" tux! I have a feeling they didn't do the story as a period piece and for that I'll be glad. I think the cheesiness of the 70s would take away from the story.

Hmmm...I must say his hair isn't very 70's(hmmm...maybe Vietnam soldier boyish), but I'm gonna have to go with the buzz cut over the standard 70's hair this time. For once, the buzz wins out for me!!
As much as I love the pic, I love the story that goes with it even more. Clever sleuthing, undercover ops, trading the prized disc for a bottle of cognac ... it's great stuff!

Oh, and the CDS board is terrifically funny and nice, with a great collective sense of humor. Definitely NOT for the slash-averse, though. :)
