The Slayers' Stake - Prop Replica. The Stake will be shipping early 2005 and comes in a "satin-lined, black wooden box" with the words "Into every generation a Slayer is born, one girl in all the world, a chosen one..." on it.

Alternatively, you could carve a piece of wood and save yourself $90.

I must have this!
I agree with Simon, its a bit pricey for a piece of wood.
And I agree with Simon and Tee: ridiculous! And if you're not good with a knife and worry about cutting yourself, you probably shouldn't even own a pointy stick!
They should do a set. A replica of everything Buffy ever used to slay a vamp. Stakes, chair legs, pumpkin patch sign, Harmony's unicorn, broken broom handle, snooker cue and that six foot length of two by four that Kakistos needed. They could send each one to you every month!

And that's not including the rocket launcher!
LOL, zz9. But they'd have to include the rocket launcher! Now that would be impressive.

Tee isn't just agreeing with me because she's my wife and I guess I know what I'm not getting for my birthday.

And besides if you went wandering down the street with a stake in your hand, you might just get arrested.
I do think it's a beautiful keepsake, but I would rather make the stake myself, buy a box and have it engraved and line it with velvet. I just don't feel that crafty right now.
Must agree with Simon. My first thoughts exactly. But the rocket launcher . . . Hmmmm. Or perhaps, more modestly, the crossbow (although I fear my first experience would echo Kendra's -- look out evil lamps!).
Doesn't Power Star sell these for like 10 bucks?
In retrospect I'd rather have the scythe than a stake I could make myself.
I want the box that comes with. It'll look nice in my bedroom with the stake in it.

Oh I see how it is. My wife's on here a lot so you gotta have your wife here too. Sigh...I always start national crazes....I mean, Nathan saw me in a leather kilt and sure enough....;-)

As for the stake....uhm....yeah. Not the best 90 bucks you could spend on something Buffy related. I mean an ACTUAL prop stake would be cool. Or a replica of something like the Scythe or Faith's knife is cool even if it's not the actual prop because the objects themselves are cool.

But here...not a prop and the actual object is a piece of wood in a box....okay. People have been selling sharpened stakes on Ebay already (usually with the word 'Buffy' on them. Cuz, ya know, Buffy always had her name on her stakes....uhm...)

No sorry gonna pass on this one. Or just grab a broom stick and a knife....
Ohhh...very nice. This would look very awesome with my Buffy collection. I've got a replica of the Faith knife already, and have ordered the scythe and Buffy's sword from Becoming replicas. Me thinks this would look very nice in my Buffy-themed bedroom hehe....

Wow. Tainted Goddess, your going be the coolest person anyone knows for having that stuff. (DROOLS!!!!)
wow that is impressive Tainted goddess, btw have you got a pic of the faith knife replica? :)

but yer $90 for a piece of wood i dont think so, but when you look at it it isnt just a piece of wood it is beautifully crafted and the box is lovely, but I'd choose the sword or scythe any day.
Ive actually made my own stake, doesnt look to good but it does the trick.
