The Joss Touch: Comic teams emulate it, reviewers take note.
Two writers at Silver Bullet evoke the Whedon name in separate Marvel reviews for "Marvel Knights Spider Man #9" and "She Hulk #10. [Spoilers for both issues.].
The influence of JW is all-pervasive these days, directly and indirectly creeping into everything from TV (Lost, Veronica Mars) and film (Blade) to graphic novels and comics as a new generation of writers and artists exposed to his storytelling expertise puts those lessons to good use (or not, as the case may be).
"In the hands of other writers, Millar’s ideas could have been shorn of the dead weight that holds them down. The climactic scenes of the “Gifted” story arc in Joss Whedon’s Astonishing X-Men fall into place with a charged limpidity that belies their melodrama."
~ Keith Dallas, from his review of "Marvel Knights Spider Man #9"
"Slott takes a page from Joss Whedon by breaking up the funny and action-packed normalcy of She-Hulk for a comparatively thoughtful exercise focused on Titania."
~ Ray Tate, from his review of "She Hulk #10"

I wonder just how many creatives in Hollywood, and everywhere, would own up to being Whedon-influenced? There must be hundreds of 'em out there. Thousands! That covert world domination plan of his is looking more viable all the time.
