Little Britain Wins Award, Head In Tow. At tonights 15th British Comedy Awards Little Britain won in a number of categories including one for Best TV Comedy. Writers and stars David Walliams and Matt Lucas collected the award with Anthony Stewart Head in tow.

When thanking people for the award they made special reference to Tony, saying "Let's all thank the guy from Buffy. We gayed him up week after week and he kept coming back."

More awards for the best British Comedy series of recent years. If only Matt Lucas had collected the award in the Bubbles De Vere outfit/body suit! That would have been brilliant.

EXTRA NEWS: A third series has been planned. Dont know if ASH is part of it though

Oh and just a little unrelated side comment, how can "Doc Martin" (even though it wasn't bad) triumph over the supreme "Shameless" (which by the way starts its second series next month)!!!!! Its not possible!

ASH is an actor, so keeping a straight face is part of the job. Possibly no more demanding than working with demons (or as a demon). I loved his face when they referred to "the guy from Buffy", though!

Tony in a fit of giggles is hysterical to watch, especially when he did that Poofy The Vampire Slayer sketch with Graham Norton.

I remember Juliet Landau telling a story about working with ASH (The "in the moment scene") and how it was close to lunch and I think his stomach was growling really loud everytime they tried to kiss that he would just start giggling and she would as well. David and James couldn't hear Tony's tummy rumbling, so they were getting frustrated because they wanted to go to lunch. ASH loves the kraft services table, so I can imagine shooting scenes with him around lunch time after that didn't happen that often.
