It's a boy! A post on the Official Firefly message board confirms that Joss Whedon and Kai Cole delivered their first child on Wednesday.

Huh. I was an extra on the final episode of "Firefly" Monday and Tuesday (Dec. 16 and 17, respectively), and saw a pregnant woman Tuesday I thought was Debbie Gibson. Must've been Kai. She was VERY pregnant. :)
