Interesting. "Revolver" is the name of the new Guy Ritchie flick, currently filming with Jason Statham. I wonder which flick will have to change its name.

I've read that Andre Benjamin has also been cast in 'Revolver'. That's Andre 3000, I'm told.

As for SMG's Revolver, it looks promising. The title will probably change at some point. That link above has pretty much given away the entire plot. I'm seeing Mickey Rourke as Terry Stahl or maybe he's too old for the part...hmmm

dbp - according to smgfan.com, the Revolver that ANdre 3000 is signed on for is the Guy Ritchie movie (which makes SNT's evaluation that much more likely).

I've just quickly checked a couple of sites and, yes, it does seem to be the Guy Ritchie film. Thanks for the heads up, WWBD. I'm going to be continually confused until one of them changes its title!

Oh yep, zz9, Ritchie himself does not qualify - but he did have the good taste to cast, among others, Vinnie "bites ya balls" Jones in that Lock Stock rubbish - and I think Vinnie's the genuine article. For what it's worth. And I hear that Mrs. Ritchie is quite the Londoner these days.

There's also info on that page about a new "Babylon 5" movie. I was never into that show, but someone around here probably is.

As for "Revolver" - it doesn't sound very compelling to me.

Imdb ( and the people providing information to it) seems to have gotten confused with the different 'Revolver' films, lets see if we can do better around here.

The most interesting thing with the information so far (apart from the director Asif Kapadia) is the producer Aaron Ryder according to Imdb he's produced the following films the last 5 years.

Bluesman (2005) (announced) (producer)
The Moguls (2005) (producer)
Wrong Turn (2003/I) (executive producer)
Stark Raving Mad (2002) (executive producer)
The Mexican (2001) (executive producer)
Donnie Darko (2001) (executive producer)
Memento (2000) (executive producer)

If this film would be closer to Donnie Darko and Memento than some of the others, it could be quite an interesting little film, not a blockbuster but a chance for SMG to show off her big screen acting skills.
