Wouldn't have minded seeing what Joss would have done with the Avengers after Disassembled but i think it's fair to say that Bendis has control over that corner of the Marvel Universe.
If Joss doesn't stay on AX-M after issue 12 i would kinda like to see how he wrote a Spidey book. Could be interesting.

Anyway, Joss' success with Astonishing X-Men is an stunning riposte to those who say he doesn't want to or can't work with other people's creations.

Grant Morrison huh? Maybe returning to the X-books in order to try kill off Magneto and Jean a second time despite the fact he should know that neither of them will ever be allowed to be dead for more than a 6 week period? That guy just never gives up does he! :)
