2005 Best Books for Young Adults. The Young Adult Library Services Association of the American Library Association has named Fray as one of the best books for teens for the year.

Scroll down, scroll way down - the books are listed alphabetically by author (of course!)

Very cool, it's good to see comic books getting recognition like this.
Absolutely, but in what shrimpless world was Fray published by 'Darby Creek Publishing?'

That would be Dark Horse Comics all the way.

Does anyone know if this edition exists too, or if it is just a typo?
That would be the non-Vampire version of Fray. he
Just kidding. Just checked out Darby Creek and they don't have it listed, so they haven't taken it on for the mass market. Good catch. I'll drop YALSA a line
"Darby Creek"?? Huh? Probably a little slip. Still good to see the recognition, as Simon said. I must say I'm a bit surprised that they chose it. I love it myself of course, and most comic and Joss fans do too, but that an organization like this has the awareness and good taste to acknowledge it as well....good stuff.
