The Lure of the Vampire...from Bram Stoker to BtVS.
Forthcoming scholarly tome by Milly Williamson from Columbia University Press--The Lure of the Vampire: Gender, Fiction and Fandom from Bram Stoker to Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Book should be available June 2005, according to the print catalog. Let's hope they don't postpone it forever, as Duke has done with Red Noise.

Her book sounds right up my street, think I'll be getting a hold of it. And out of interest what it is Red Noise and why do Duke keep postponing it?

I have no idea what the problem is with Duke UP & Red Noise, but if I were the editors and/or authors, I'd be looking for lawyers by now. Or at least for a new publisher.
But--yikes!--just now looking at the website vs. the catalog, I notice that the print catalog shows the publication date as June 2005, while the website has it as August 2005. Should we worry?
