Angel's happy shirt for sale again. Fox is still auctioning off bits from "Angel". Also available: Wesley's glasses and Buffy's pants.

Not to be pedantic, but aren't drawers underwear?
Possibly. My grandfather in Ohio may not have used it correctly and I got it from him. Did I mislead you into thinking that silky underthings were listed for sale? Sorry about that.
I wonder how many people will click the link in hopes of being able to buy Buffy's undergarments. ;)
We're not overtly fond of auction items being linked here but seeing as that shirt will go down in history as the most repulsive piece of clothing ever seen on Angel it can stay.

And I'll change drawers to pants to avoid any more confusion.
Well, I wouldn't mind getting into Buffy's pants, but for $900+, I think I'd expect a little something more . . .

(drum-roll and hi-hat sound please)
But Simon, it's a shiny happy shirt! Okay, who am I trying to kid? That thing is hideous!
I don't think the shirt was that bad... Wesley's glasses are already almost $200+. (Commences drum-roll and hi-hat sound) :)
*CRIES* my parents won't let me buy Buffy's pants from the greatest episode ever. If they were selling these a few months from now I could get it.

What episode did he wear that shirt?

Hmm, must be waiting for that big tax refund! :D

What episode did he wear that shirt?

The ad says it's from Shiny Happy People!
I remeber that shirt.
We were all amazed that he had been dressed in it at all!
Not something Angel would normally wear.
Maybe he was Angelus at the time and trying to pretend and look all goody two shoes for the gang?
You know I am glad that someone posted the link because otherwise I wouldn't have known about the auction. Kudos to you Selania. I want some more Wesley stuff.
That shirt definately wasn't something that Angel would normally wear, but I think that was the point. Everyone was "shiny happy" and so not themselves. The shirt was "sunny" which is kind of an ironic statement for a vampire.
The thing I wonder is, how did Angel even come up with that yellow shirt? It's like nothing he would have ever owned. Unless Cordy bought it for him...? (Just imagining it pushed to the back of his closet behind all the black, plum, maroon and gray clothes gives me the giggles). Nah, she would have known better.

So after Jasmania struck, he must have gone shopping with, I'm guessing, Lorne? I so wish I'd been a fly on the wall for that shopping trip.

"Oh, Angelcakes, it's so youuuuuuuuu!"
Buffy's pants are almost at a $1000 now! SNT - I guess you aren't the only one who wants to get in her pants!
Damn, SNT, I wanted to make a similar crack about 'getting into Buffy's pants'. Beat me to it. And yeah, almost a thousand bucks? For that money she'd better be in them when they arrive at my house!

And I agree with jewel that Angel's shirt was supposed to be sunny and shiny. And happy. And ugly.....;-)

Good guess but No. They wouldn't buy me that. But in a few months I will have a job and get a credit card but i have to graduate first.
Personally, the shiny, happy shirt is one of my all time favorites. Since most people hate it, maybe I have a shot in the bidding!
When there was all that stuff being auctioned last year or the year before maybe by Foxauction, I remember someone saying (posting) that he or she wished that shirt were among the goodies. Well, now we know that Foxauction didn't have it. I agree, it was chosen because it was so un-Angel!

I, too, am pleased about the link. Though I do go through spurts on eBay, I try not to surf it regularly (or I end up overbidding on stuff I don't need, want, etc.!).
Nixygirl, you don't have to hit return after every sentence. I'm starting to hyperventilate drawing breath for each new 'paragraph'. :-)

And Simon's right about the eBay links. We're likely to delete them.
I get the deleting of auction links because of the overwhelming amount of just "stuff" (James Marsters pillow cases, for example) but since this was an actual wardrobe item I went with it. Plus, it's stripe-tastic!

I'm not sure even Lorne would do that to him. I mean, would it really go with the beige aura???

shopping with Lorne...now there's a spin-off...
