(SPOILER)
More praise for AXM (compared to Uncanny X-Men).
Contains spoilers for the latest Uncanny X-Men and AXM if anyone hasn't read the 1st 6 issues yet.
"The best X-Book on the shelves at the moment is Whedon's Astonishing X-Men and it’s a perfect example of how to bring a character back to life, not only is it a beautiful, touching affair, but its also just realistic enough to be credible."

STORYTELLING is the forgotten theme - gimmicks, variant covers, revisioning(s) can distract from the lack of that for a while but, in the end, it has got be in there.
I confess that I don't read the other X-men stuff regularly to keep with anything any more. I am just waiting for my AXM 'Gifted" TPB to arrive.
