R2 "Tru Calling" Set To Include Seasons 1 & 2, according to Play.

It's up as "The Complete Series" on all the other UK based online stores, but this is the only one that had a complete episode listing.

Hope a Region 1 season 2 DVD comes out, I'm not going to buy season 1 again just to get the 6 episodes of (the far superior) season 2.

I'm not a huge fan, but all I can say is: "NOT FAIR!" I didn't buy season 1, but I probably would have if it included the 6 season 2 episodes.
Sounds good. I'll buy this partly because Eliza elevates the so so episodes of season one, she's great, ashame the show didn't start off strong, starts are important, it's gets harder to reclaim back viewers after you show them the so so episodes. Some shows are lucky and stay on air and get stronger, maybe Tru was gonna be better, but it's always a risk when you spend a season trying to find a show, it wasn't thought out as well as it should of been from the start, but it's still a alright show compared to alot of other stuff around.

I'll hold off on buying Tru Calling until they have a set with both seasons in it. Or they have an expansion pack.
Tru Calling wasn't the best genre show ever, but it had its moments and was steadily improving. The season finale made me cry, more than once, I think.

Look back over Fox's track record of airing genre shows and then canceling them, specifically Firefly (~11 eps.), Wonderfalls (4 eps.) and Tru Calling (~20 eps.). It seems that Fox liked Tru Calling the most, ie. aired the most episodes, greenlighted production on Season 2 before pulling the plug, etc.

Now fast forward to today. Point Pleasant is struggling to stay on the air. In comparison, I felt that Tru Calling was a much better show than PP. Plus, they had added Doug Petrie and Jane Espenson to their writing staff, which was a brilliant move IMO.

I wouldn't mind at all if they cancelled PP and brought back TC. Of course, I'm sure everyone has moved on now and isn't available, but a girl can dream, right?
Im more and more wanting to buy this! But i must stop myself! I just dont have the money!

I give it a week tops before i buy it
Without giving too much away, what was the gist of the Season 2 storyline?
