James Marsters Solo Album Title Announced. Find out the name of his solo album. Also, status on UK tour dates.

'Civilized Man' - the perfect title from the perfect performer. And a lovely counter point to his role as Spike. I canít wait to purchase my copy!

I concur!

I love the title, and I can't wait to get my hands on the CD. I only hope that it will be available on his website so that those of us not attending Cons can purchase it.

They'd be crazy not to! I don't own any official GotR cd's(though I have heard most of the songs) but I'd definitely be tempted to buy a solo cd. I think with the right material for his voice, this could be an amazing album.
"at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool"

Just a couple of miles from where I was born - which is a shame because I now live in Australia!

Still, I am going to see him at the HiFi bar & ballroom in Melbourne in July during the tabula rasa con. He may have copies of the new album on sale at the con, I would guess.
The title could be worse (much worse). I'll almost certainly buy it. (Not that I wouldn't anyway.. even if the title was embarassingly bad.)

I hope the album isn't over-produced, I hate that drowned-out, over-lapped production sound on records. Fingers crossed for a nice organic-sounding, acoustic-y affair.
Judging by James' accoustic set at the Halloween Convention, last October, this CD should be excellent. Interesting title !
The title reminds me of what Giles said about Dr. Gregory, the lamented biology teacher, who got partially eaten by a big bug in Teacher's Pet. I hope that doesn't happen to all 'civilized men'.
