Angel soundtrack CD gets official US release date. It will be released by Rounder Records on May 17th and will have all the tracks that were on the UK version.

The future releases page gives the date in case anyone is wondering why the page I have linked to doesn't have it.

Yes, thank you Simon! I was just arguing to myself on why there wasn't a release date yet.
Any chance it will show up on iTunes? Did iTunes UK get it when it was released over there?
Only Buffyverse product on iTunes UK appears to be 'Once More With Feeling'. Foxmusic.com has a 10 track digital Angel soundtrack EP for download but I gather paying for the music and downloading them was somewhat painful.
If someone is from Brazil and it's interested, EMI-Virgin is releasing the Angel Soundtrack in April 4th. You can pre-order your copy in the following links: Som Livre or Saraiva.
I hate that I can't buy UK songs in iTunes...

It really would've been a lot easier for Fox to just put them on iTunes. I don't see much success in purchasing songs from websites.
Bother. I'm a Mac enthusiast and find iTunes a lot easier than any other way to buy music. Guess I'll just order the CD.

Thanks for checking, Simon.

I bought A Place Called Home on iTunes soon after I first saw Shell. I love it, it is a gorgeous song. I have to say Kim Richey in concert is quite fabulous as well. She opened for an Indigo Girls concert I went to 3 years ago.

Do they sell these cd's at conventions?
Yay! Happiness is May 17th circled on the calendar.

(Only one day after DB's birthday -- reckon he'll get a copy? :)
And I just got my copy from amazon.co.uk last week, grumble, grumble...

The mp3s are available at a Russian MP3 site. Kind of a gray area there, your moral mileage may vary.
Excellent news! Thank you, Simon :)
charisma I would imagine the soundtrack would be sold at conventions but it might be handier asking your local record shop to get it in for you.
