hey thats me in the green shirt! i would have also taken photos, but the screening was pretty security heavy, and there was no way i was going to get asked to leave. they went around before the show and told everybody with laptops and cameras to go take them to their car. they also had the nightvision goggle guy checking during the film.

redfern, we are already organizing! Check out www.canadianbrowncoats.com We were thinking of having a Firefly marathon but haven't yet checked to see how hard it would be to get a licence from Fox. And we have shindigs every month. We have fans who are Whedon fans and some who are just Firefly fans Makes a nice mix.

Btw in case anyone wondered, we didn't really smuggle a camera in there. Well, sort of but...uhm...my wife had one in her purse and we weren't sure if they were allowed or not (it was not a digital one). We figured they'd just take it at the door if it wasn't. But then they announced right before going in you'd have to take any cameras with you to your car or something, so she winged it and just let them look at her purse and they looked inside, the camera sticking out...and said 'okay'. They just missed it! Good thing it wasn't a bomb I'd say...

But at the signing we were of course quick to whip it out, hehe..

I am all firefly ... have not been able to keep up with buffy and am now looking for an inexpensive way to do so ... this box set seems like a good way ...

I don't know if you're still reading this, but thos chinese boxes? Well not too great. They're obviously illegal copies and many a disk has episodes missing. S3 for instance misses 'Doppelgangland' and 'Band Candy'. Some links are wrongly connected in the menus and it's just a mess. We bought the official american copies of the seasons now.
