(SPOILER) Veronica Mars creator on his next likely Buffyverse guest star. "My wife to be is friends with Charisma Carpenter who is a huge fan of the show, so I'm waiting for the right moment to throw Charisma into it as well."

I have never seen this show so I've put a spoiler tag on just to be on the safe side in case there's spoilers for upcoming episodes.

So let's see if Buffyverse characters are opposites on "Veronica Mars" that would make her the insecure prudish virgin with no fashion taste, LOL.

Hmmm... "I wish Veronica had never come to Sunnydale..." Done! (teehee)
This is great news :)
I'm a huge Veronica Mars and Charisma fan, so I'm stoked that she will hopefully appear. Charisma deserves a good meaty role.
I'm positively beaming at this news!
I've never watched it either since it doesn't air here. However, because of the positive comments from other members, I'm given serious thought of picking up the first season DVD set. I'm glad it's going to be out just before the second season starts.
It will be worth every penny Madhatter :)

<<<< Still dancing for joy!
A return to the small screen by CC would be great! Here's to hoping it will happen!
Woohoo, been watching s2 of Buffy this weekend, remembering why I loved Cordy and therefore CC so much. Of course if they do this, they need to have AH and CC interact!
Any news yet on whether or not this show is getting picked up for a second season? Has that been announced?
Yes, it's confirmed that it's getting a second season. every so often the television powers-that-be reward a good show despite lackluster ratings...
Here's hoping that CC is a former Queen of the ultra-snobby 09ers, and there will be an extended, vicious snarkoff between CC and VM.
I have yet to see Veronica Mars here in the UK but I am definitely going to give it a look, especially with Alyson Hannigan and now possibly Charisma Carpenter as guest stars.

Hmm, one topic that I think may sound creepy but is actually interesting is whether Cordy was a virgin whenever she went out with Xander. He lost his to Faith, so Xander and Cordy didn't have sex, and her next real relationship was to the guy in "Expecting". It seems sad that the first guy she had sex with impregnated her with demon spawn!
Yay! Charisma Carpenter on Veronica Mars? I SO HOPE this comes true!
Hooray! I *adore* Charisma. I'll be happy to see her in any role they come up with. She's always a breath of fresh air on screen.
Razor, I don't think we can be sure of what Cordy's love life was like between the time she broke up with Xander and when she showed up in LA. She was on the outskirts of the Scoobies for a while when she was in Sunnydale and there was a break before she met up with Angel. She did not strike me as totally unexperienced...well ever...but especially in LA. That is not a slam against her. I just always thought that that was not something that was as important in Cordy's development in relation to the stories that were being told, so they just skipped it.
I just really like the idea that, despite her bravado and confidence in season one, she may have actually been a virgin and willing to have sex with Xander. Not sure though. They definitely made a deliberate decision to make Cordy more mature for Angel. Charisma looks so young that she was a convincing twenty year old, but by the end of season three or so they really portrayed her as being able thrity or so, when in reality the character would have been the roughly the same age as Buffy, twenty-one.
I didn't read the article because I'm spoiler phobic but I'd love it if CC also showed up on VMs. Wouldn't it be funny if she became Logan and Trina's new stepmother? For those who don't know Trina is played by AH.
It's only spoilery in the strictest sense FfFl, there are no plot points given away, just mention of vague plans for next season and what we can expect to be resolved in tonights episode. I guess if you want to be really safe then don't read it, or at least read after you've seen tonights episode.
