Boston Buffy Sing -A-Long. The Coolidge Theater in Brookline Mass, will host its second OMWF sing-a-long (and viewing of the original pilot episode) on Friday, May 27 at 12:00 AM.

"The return of our one-of-a-kind Sing-A-Long production of everyone's favorite monster-fighting cult TV show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer! We'll give you "Something to Sing About" at this special screening of Joss Whedon's classic musical episode, including goodie bags full of interactive activities (and plastic vampire teeth, of course), subtitles so you can sing-a-long with Buffy and the gang, our ringleader cast from Queer Soup (creators of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer's High School Reunion") who will guide you through the night... and bunnies! Ahhhhh!
After the singing, stick around for an ultra-rare screening of the original Buffy pilot episode, featuring a totally different Willow and vampires that turn into chalk! Buffy parties like this are popping up all over the country, but it originated here at the Coolidge in a stunning sell out show last year. Don't miss out on the fun!"

Yay! My first link!
Is this the same Thursday the 26th when lots of lucky people will be seeing the Serenity Preview in Boston?
Nice! If you can't go to one, you can go to the other.
Congrats, Nutmanda.
Whoops...I messed up the date. I changed it. It's the 27th. The day after the screenings. So I'm doing both. And I have to work Friday morning, so I will be exhausted come Saturday, but it'll be worth it.
Have fun Nutmanda! I sure wish I lived closer to Boston and some of these things were earlier. I'm about two hours away and wouldn't know my way around Boston at all. This sounds like a lot of fun! What an exciting couple of days for you getting to see Serenity and go to the OMWF sing-a-along too!
Oh wow, this theater is amazing! And to think that I had no idea it existed in my own back yard until this moment...Does everyone realize that in addition to the sing-along, this Friday there's going to be a Freaks and Geeks event with Samm Levine, and that next month the astounding Bruce Campbell will be screening his "Man with the Screaming Brain?" And tickets are cheap, too. The mind boggles!
I know isn't it great? I wish I was a freaks and geeks fan (I think I'd like it, but I never watched it). I think that event sounds like so much fun.
Wow, I'd love to have one of these in my city. And they're showing the original Buffy pilot? Yikes! "vampires that turn into chalk." That about sums it up.
Noticed someone here who hasn't seen Freaks and Geeks - Just want to give it my biggest and most heartfelt endorsement. I think people who appreciate Buffy's honest emotional look at adolescence and humor will really appreciate this show. It's of the same quality that left me with jaw dropped open, like some Buffy, Angel, and Firefly episodes have. It was extremely well done and cancelled way-too-early after 18 episodes.
