90210 vs Buffy alums. Zap2it article looks at how the alums of 90210 and Buffy/Angel fared during pilot season. Nice shout out to the 'Whedon-verse" as well.

Need to go to middle of article for it.

One of the most entertaining subplots of this pilot season was monitoring the attempt by former "Beverly Hills, 90210" stars and featured players from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" (commonly known as the Whedon-verse) to make it back on the small screen.

Loved that! I wish that they had also mentioned Adam Baldwin, Gina Torres and Alan Tudyk too. They are also part of the Whedonverse!!
Exactly what I was about to say Firefly Flanatic. The article didn't mention "Buffyverse" (which would include Gina and Adam whatsoever), but mentioned Whedonverse, which should include Firefly alums.
I hate CBS for dropping Judging Amy, even though they replaced it with an Angel-alum's new show. Beatches.
Also, let’s not forget Buffy alum Eric Balfour (Jesse, Xander’s friend who was accidentally dusted by Xander in “The Harvest”). He stars in Sex, Lies & Secrets on UPN this fall.
"ABC was stoked to have the "thirtysomething" team of Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz chronicling twentysomethings with "1/4life,""

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I loved "My So-Called Life" and "Once and again" almost as much as I loved Buffy! This probably would've been great! Grrr. Argh! I'm so disappointed.

On topic, I'm glad that Nick Brendon's and Aly Hannigan's pilots have been picked up. More Whedonverse Alum on TV is always a good thing. :)
Well, we all know how talented the ME actors are. Kudos.
I love how they actually acknowledged the whedonverse even if they didn't include our beloved firefly actors. Exposure is a good thing. Yes, electricspacegirl, our ME actors are indeed talented. Much kudos to them and many hopes that their success continues.
