Firefly joins SCI FI Friday line-up.
A Stargate site promotes Firefly joining the Sci-fi line-up!
I know there is nothing new regarding news but Stargate has a huge following so I'm pleased to see this announcement on one of their fan sites! I'm hoping this will entice fans of that show to check out Firefly (if they aren't already fans already).
For those of you not in the US - Sci-fi has been getting great ratings on Friday nights with it's line-up of Stargate Sg-1, Stargate Atlantis and BSG so hopefully those viewers will decide to tune in an hour early to catch Firefly.
And Mods wasn't sure if this was just re-hashing old news or if it was good to post because of the exposure on other sci-fi websites so I figured I'd post it anyway but will understand if it gets deleted.

This is just speculation...

That's what happens with the Firefly reruns on the Sci Fi channel in the UK. Serenity part one ends when Mal discovers River in the box.

Well, not really... I'm still kinda pissed with them for booting the show runner from Andromeda towards the end of season 2 and turning it into "Hercules in space". It was such a good show (not Firefly class or anything but still) with interesting characters and then all of a sudden it was ridiculously much centered around the most boring character in the show and it just became painful to watch. Never even managed to finish season 3 and I haven't looked back since.
Anyway, it's a great spot for Firefly.

I'm excited about them showing Firefly, and the potential to get more interest for Serenity this way! The show sells itself, people just need to watch it.
