320 pages, $29.99, in stores on Dec. 21.

Oh, thank God. I get to sell my issues and get the hardcover. I'm collecting far too much already.
Despite having all the issues to date, I really want this. And I hope it includes the extras from the #1 director's cut and the commentaries that appeared in Wizard magazine.

*Hint to wife - this would be a perfect Xmas present*.
*this* is what I have been waiting for!!! I know it's crazy, but I swore I would wait till the entire series was finshed before reading any of it. Can't bear the waiting in between... kinda like having a whole season on DVD rather than waiting out the live season. *so* much easier to enjoy.

I'm offically starting my xmas list now. :)
I really want get the "Dangerous" album and this too! Can't afford both. Real question is, can I wait till Christmas to read the rest the arc?
Despite having all the issues and both trades (second on order), I'm gonna have to get this, really like the idea of having them all collected together in one hardback. Didn't Joss have some involvement with this House of M thing that ties in with Astonishing, I'll need those too, this is getting expensive, thank god for Christmas. Flippin' 'eck, hadn't noticed how many House of M books there are, think I'll just stick to the main one and the X-Men one.

Anyone got any sort of idea how long theres going to be between issues 12-13, the gap between issues at the moment has become about 2 months, and they said there'd be a longer one between the two years.

miyu_tVP: not to dissuade you from reading "Astonishing" yet, but Joss is actually signed up for another year. Still, the first collection, at least, is fairly self-contained plot-wise, aside from a few pages setting up future storylines. Kinda like a season of Buffy ...
Apparently the new issue of Wizard (out tomorrow) contains details of Joss' new Marvel series.
