Clips of the Serenity cast at the Starfury convention in London. Courtesy of the official Serenity movie site (req reg). Bloody powerful stuff btw, Universal should include this in their press packs. The clip does contain snippets of dialogue from the trailer.

Geez! When the crowd started singing the ballad, I burst out crying! You're right, Simon, very powerful. And very cool.
Wow, that was great! I teared up when the crowd started singing. Thanks, Simon.
Is this supposed to be audio only? I saw no picture.

Shouldn't this thread be marked as spoilery too? I stopped listening when I heard what I presumed to be dialogue from the trailer.
Powerful indeed. I choked up, too! In a happy way. There's much intense Firefly/Serenity/JossLove out there to be milked by Universal. Let's hope they do it cleverly and well.
Gorram it! I was there (I'm actually one of the first people you can see if your media player decides to work properly!) and seeing this just makes me want to be back there again.

When Summer (and Ron) broke down a little on stage? I know I wasn't the only one who wanted to go up there and hug them - and seeing it again just amplifies that.

Man, I can't wait 'till Serenity Squared now!

YAY I'm on it!!

I'm the girl in the green top.. i think you see me and my friend Olly twice outside the hall and then I asked the question about the future. *squee* this is SO amazing. I hope it goes on the DVD!! Wow!!

Grounded: It was only the trailer. Nothing more.

Wow... i have to watch it again. It brought back so many memories! *wipes tears*
Polo - you were the one who asked about the future? I was the girl sitting next to you! (purple v-neck top, you watched our seats for one of the photo sessions)

Sorry - just had to squee about (kinda) finding you again!

And absolutely - I have every part of me crossed that this makes it onto the DVD!
Awwwwwwwwwwww I just wanna give Summer a big damn hug. :)
This was really beautifully edited. Morena and Jewel were cracking me up.
damn, damn, DAMN I wish I coulda gone. I wish I could go to the next one.

but most of all, I wish I had a British accent!!!! :P
I wish I had a British accent!!!!

I hear that the Northern Irish ones are the best.
I hear that the Northern Irish ones are the best.

Really? I heard that a soft southern middle-class North London accent with just a tinge of California twang really gets the SF browncoat ladies going . . . or perhaps I was misinformed?

(ETA) Actually, just remembered a girl I knew at college who was from Northern Ireland. That was, admittedly, a damn fine accent.

You're not wrong. I'll be in my bunk...
Oh, SNT. That too, that too.

*sigh* What a sucker I am for you Isles boys...

no, not misinformed. ;)
Damn that was really good - I wish I'd gone now.
My favourite moment of the con was unfortunately on the day before the camera crew was there. At the start of one of the items someone announced "Please stand for the national anthem", while we were still wondering about this slightly strange request the sound system started playing the Firefly theme. The reaction was amazing, everyone coming to their feet with what sounded like a solid wall of cheers and clapping.

Oh, my god, I'm going to cry. That video was beautiful. *sniff*

Ok, I'm really gonna cry now. That's why I love this fandom. It feels like a family, and I've never experienced anything like that before. Browncoats are wonderful. I really need to get myself to a Firefly convention someday.

How cool of them to include 11th's artwork. Must run off and tell her now.
Simon says: I hear that the Northern Irish ones are the best.

Now I'm really going out on a limb here maybe possibly -- lots of trees here in Canada -- but was the girl dressed in black and with long dark hair the one with the Northern Irish accent? More specifically, she asked the cast for their first impressions of each other.

Okay, if she's the one, let me gush from afar.

Good ear, Drifter (and, um, good eye too). I do believe that girl was from Ulster. But, I've a feeling that Simon was referring to someone else *coughhimselfcough* . . .

Great video. The cast members looked absolutely stunning, every single one of them. And kudos to Mara and Polo for making it on there.
SNT,

Always drawing attention to themselves, aren't they?

Indeed, the cast looked healthy and happy! The best kind. And the fans acquitted themselves well, too. That video was very well done and must -- *must* I say -- be included on the DVD discs. Universal (ahem, Joss, kind sir) are you listening?
What a fantastic clip. You're not alone esg - I choked up when Alan said that and I choked up again when Ron and Summer got emotional.
Ok I can't get the clip to work :(

I couldn't go but all my mates were there. They said it was very emotional (even for us brits). Booked for Serenity Squared though :D
Damn, how does that cast get to be so talented and funny yet so humble at the same time? Every time I see them, I like the actors behind the characters even more!
Yay for me I got the thing to work and my friends are up the front :D -

"Every time I see them, I like the actors behind the characters even more!"

Every time I see them I want to hug them, what fantastic people indeed, no ego trips there.
Mara: oh wow!! hiiii! (i love it when this happens lol)
