Powerful indeed. I choked up, too! In a happy way. There's much intense Firefly/Serenity/JossLove out there to be milked by Universal. Let's hope they do it cleverly and well.

Gorram it! I was there (I'm actually one of the first people you can see if your media player decides to work properly!) and seeing this just makes me want to be back there again.

When Summer (and Ron) broke down a little on stage? I know I wasn't the only one who wanted to go up there and hug them - and seeing it again just amplifies that.

Man, I can't wait 'till Serenity Squared now!

Really? I heard that a soft southern middle-class North London accent with just a tinge of California twang really gets the SF browncoat ladies going . . . or perhaps I was misinformed?

(ETA) Actually, just remembered a girl I knew at college who was from Northern Ireland. That was, admittedly, a damn fine accent.

My favourite moment of the con was unfortunately on the day before the camera crew was there. At the start of one of the items someone announced "Please stand for the national anthem", while we were still wondering about this slightly strange request the sound system started playing the Firefly theme. The reaction was amazing, everyone coming to their feet with what sounded like a solid wall of cheers and clapping.

Ok, I'm really gonna cry now. That's why I love this fandom. It feels like a family, and I've never experienced anything like that before. Browncoats are wonderful. I really need to get myself to a Firefly convention someday.

Now I'm really going out on a limb here maybe possibly -- lots of trees here in Canada -- but was the girl dressed in black and with long dark hair the one with the Northern Irish accent? More specifically, she asked the cast for their first impressions of each other.

Great video. The cast members looked absolutely stunning, every single one of them. And kudos to Mara and Polo for making it on there.
