Amber Benson to appear on The Inside.

She is playing Allison Davis in episode 1.11: The Perfect Couple. Air Date: August 17th.

Yay! Let's just hope she isn't killed off the show too soon :) Does anyone know if she is supposed to play a one-episode character or if it is a recruiting role? Having yet to get my hands on a copy of "Chance", I would enjoy seeing Amber persue a role different from Tara
Edited to make headline more clear and add a category.
One episode character.
Let's hope the show lasts that long!
I'll be watching, enjoying it so far! Yippee for Amber, I miss seeing her sweet face.
Awww.. Nice! I've liked what I've seen of "The Inside" so far, and this will definitely encourage me to continue watching.
She was absolutely wonderful on that Cold Case episode last year so I am really looking forward to seeing this...
Is it just me or would Amy Acker have been a better choice to play Rebecca Locke? Think about it - shy, mentally damaged, a victim of brutal treatment over a long period of time and highly intelligent - doesn't this sound a lot like Fred?

Is it possible that Tim wrote the character for Amy, but couldn't get the PTB to go for the change of actress?

Dam it! I can't stop thinking how great the show would have been with Amy in the role. Dam it!

But Amy/Fred wouldn't have made some of the really stupid moves that Rebecca has, thus destroying major plot lines.
I think both Amber Benson and Amy Acker are awesome actresses, so I'm sure either one of them would do the role well, and it just happens to be Amber playing the role and I'm sure she'll do a great job. After all, when Amy Acker played Fred she was just acting, so whilst she may have a little more experience in this type of role, any good actress can play the part.
Wonderful news for Amber.

She would have written the show herself?
