World's First Firefly/Serenity Podcast. A group of international fans have produced a podcast. It covers a whole range of things: what is firefly, Firefly/Serenity news, Feature: "Creators and Fans", miniFeature: "How to Speak Chinese", Conversion Stories etc. It's 52 minutes long and is now available for direct download or as a torrent. You can subscribe to further podcasts by using their RSS feed.

It's a big leap forward for the fandom and I would really love to see more of this being done.

Thanks! This sounds like it could be really interesting. I'm downloading it right now.
...about 10 minutes into it and I am enjoying it very much! This would be great for recuiting new Browncoats. They did a great job!
A fantastic idea, I've downloaded it and intend to listen to it soon. I think it would be great if they continued making Firefly, Buffy or Angel podcasts with people discussing issues related to the shows, or reviewing episodes or stuff like that. I can imagine had the podcasting idea been around when Buffy first became popular, it surely would have happened, and hopefully the fact that the shows have ended won't stop fans from doing it now.
In an attempt to make sure word gets out, I'll repeat what I just said in Flickr - members on the OB are saying they called the Riverside theater and tickets are again on sale for the 06/23 Riverside screening. Someone else started a thread in Flickr with this information as well.
They really did a wonderful job. I'll be looking forward to the next one.
Listening now. Excellent intro. Someone put an enormous amount of work into this. Wow.
Just a wee update to say that the Official site for the Popcast is now fully up and running so I've changed the link accordingly. And there's an RSS feed you can subscribe to for further podcasts.

Brilliant! :D
Yes I was listening to it on my iPod when I was walking around the city (hark at my modernity). Twas very good indeed, I really recommend that y'all listen to it.
great job. They really did a nice job.
I'm going to use it to spread the word on serenity cause it covers a lot of basic stuff.
