Spoiler Free Review of Serenity in This Month's SFX. Also talks about Joss' introduction to the film and the audience reaction. And though the review says spoiler free, there is some, but not huge ones (link to magazine's website).

Beware ! while it is technically spoiler free there is a very heavy hint about something which happens in the movie.

The good news is that it is a very positive review. For instance: "Serenity, like Firefly and indeed all Whedon's productions, brims with rich witty dialogue; sympathetic heroes and villains; and a delightful lack of the pretense affecting too many recent science fiction films."
