Convention report from the Bones Panel at Comic-Con. Apparently David Boreanaz is interested in a movie!

This is very cool - I am so glad to hear he still has interest in this universe.

Though I find myself wanting to see more of Bones already. I think this show will do well. He seems so excited about it! I want this show to succeed.

He's said for a while that he's willing to do an Angel or Buffy big-screen movie, just not TV.

Still, it's good that he's still saying that, and hasn't changed his story now that he's got a new TV show.
David was freaking hilarious during the panel! Especially when he was answering the question of how similar he is to his character on "Bones." He started listing a bunch of things that he likes that he will bring to the character like Slim Jims and jeans. That's when the ice water thing came up. "I like water. Ice water 'cause it makes your nipples hard." I was in stitches during all the Q&A. Before that they showed the entire pilot. I must say I was skeptical after having seen the preview posted here earlier this month, but I enjoyed it. Oh, and someone asked both Emily and David how they thought their chances of survival on Fox were since they cancel all the good shows (good question!). Emily was optimistic. David said he's taking it one day at a time. Focusing on the stuff they're filming now and not about the future. Okay, I need to go to sleep now...Sorry for rambling.
It is great to know David's acting philosiphy has not changed. One day at a time. He is still so grounded. I have seen a few video's of this, it was very Funny.

See, the Pilot is very good.I enjoyed it and wonder about the differences in the presentation pilot and final pilot. Which one was shown? Did it have theme music?
I saw Boreanaz on a TV talk show and he was funny! Very hyper and jokey. He has a dirty sense of humor, which I like.

Good to see a Angel being menstioned, hope dies last!
FalenAnjl- I want to see the video. hook me up
It dosn't matter who is up for a movie. If Joss isn't than it is a no go. At this point, I really would rather see him direct his attention towards "Serenity", and sit back and watch it become just as big as "Buffy".
I watched the video clips that were posted on that board. David is a funny guy. I like the bit about the tongue in the fan. And he's looking mighty sexy, I might add.

Has anyone seen when DB was on Regis and Kelly? That old comedy guy Art something-or-other is like his uncle or something. DB was great and very up, but the interview on a whole was one of the oddest that I have ever seen. I wonder if someone has it archived?
This is not really news thought is it. He said ages ago that he would be up for a big screen movie, just not a tv movie. He wants the bar raised for the character, wants him to develop further.

Can't imagine he'd sign up to anything, even a big screen movie, if it regressed his character in any way. Onward and upward as it were. No re-hashing of storylines and stuff, thank goodness.
I check here everyday.. So where are those clips? How long ago were they posted?
Charisma, I edited my comment to clarify that I was talking about the zip file someone on that board put up. Click on the link and you'll find it.
Genia many time ago I'd saw that interview in davidboreanaz.com, I think that you should go to control there. I hope that it's still there.
As far as a cinematic release, I'd imagine that the movie companies would only really be interested in investing large sums of money if Buffy played some part in the story. For tv movies etc, then any other character would work. But for cinematic release, it has to have Buffy too IMO. Angel was a successful show, but never had the international success that Buffy had. I could imagine SMG being interested in a few years time if she'd had other successes. But I don't think she'd want it to be viewed as going back to Buffy because she needed to.

So yeah, it's good that David still feels the same way. But his participation isn't the key factor IMO. It's up to Joss and Sarah.
Thanks electricspacegirl. He looks really good.
I am all for the continuation of the the universe and Angel. Angel'stories are all full circle things so it is never going back only enhancing.

But I still want Bones to rock Fox's world.
FalenAnjl, you are so right about Bones, it is a fantastic show! I was skeptical because of the premise but it really is so different than other shows and the characters are SO interesting. I really hope it succeeds too. Being paired with House should help..?

And David was one of the main highlights of Comic-Con for me. He is bizarrely hilarious and sexier than ever!!!
David was hot and funny! I have to say though, Bones didn't look that great. It looked slightly better than The Inside to me, so I'll give it a shot only if it's not on during Gilmore Girls. But since they showed the first episode at the Con, I can skip that one. And it's, obviously, more about the female lead than David's character. So if you're watching it for him, you might be slightly disappointed with the focus. But that could change over the season.
Remember, this one you saw may be the presentation pilot and not the tv pilot actaully shown on Fox. Did they say which pilot this was?

All pilots are set up, so I would expect the next few eps to start getting more into all the charaacters. I was deffiantly not disappointed with his screen time in it. Better to use a character well, then just have them in a scene for no reason.
I watch for him and was pleasantly surprised that he was in so many scenes. It may not center around his life as much as Brennan's but he's still in it alot.
