FOX to keep 'The Inside' through at least August 3rd. TFC has FOX "The Inside" listings for upcoming weeks.

Hey, that's promising. Maybe they'll actually air the complete series. What a concept!
Air the complete series? Brilliant! But it won't happen...it's FOX. They're going to cancel it with one or two episodes unaired so that more people will buy the box set just to see those eps.
Okay, I've gotten so used to being skeptical of anything that is Fox related but how is this proof that Fox is going to do this? All I saw was a list of what episodes will be airing up until August 3rd. Does anyone know if the ratings have been improving each week?
If its not off of the schedule yet thats proof enough but is this up to date?

Gee...thanks.

Two more weeks to hook me on a potentially very good show, then the axe.

Don't do us any favors, there, Fox.
Oh, thank goodness.
Wait a minute... the numbers are out of order. The one being shown on the 3rd is 1x06. The earlier episodes are out of order too. Is this because they shot them out of order or aired them out of order?
Fox showing a series out of order? unpossible!
Tim chose the viewing order.
I thought Tim had posted on Buffistas that it's very unlikely that it's going to stick around since Fox opted not to renew any options with any of the actors, or something to that degree.

It's pretty much dead, but he said that he always considers the DVDs and made the show end with a good closure.
The ratings have been going up slightly as of the last showing. According to the LA Times listing of all TV shows and their ranking in terms of number of viewers, The Inside shown at 9 PM was number 74 (out of 114) and the 8 PM episode was number 80. If FOX airs the next episode in two weeks and if it follows the airing of their new dance reality contest, and if that pairing brings in more viewers, then maybe FOX will show the entire series before the end of the summer. But (sigh) a lot of ifs.
I must admit that shortly after I gave up on this show it actually got better, in fact I thought the last two episodes where excellent. They didn't focus on Rebecca as much as they did in the previous five episodes and it made the show better. Also the actress that plays Rebecca has improved slightly as well and the cast in general are working better together.

If you have given up on this show it is now time to take a second look.
I thought the same thing about the viewing order, foreverwes. Had flashbacks of 'Firefly' there for a few seconds. Thanks for setting the record straight, Allyson.
Doesn't those production number kinda flipped around? Could it be that FOX has air the episodes OUT OF ORDER AGAIN?!?!?! *sigh*

Edit: Thanks Allyson, that's good to know.

The part that makes me smile about the viewing order is that I've read quite a few comments around the web that Jane's ep was the one where the show "finally found it's feet" or that Rachel "finally became comfortable with the character."

It was the second ep written and shot. It's been an interesting time.
Is there any word on what order the episodes will be on the DVD boxset?

It's probably similar to the Wonderfalls test audience thing where they showed the same 2 episodes to different audiences but reversed the order and both thought the 2nd ep was better.
By Jane's ep, people were probably just getting used to the characters and starting to like them more...
Just conjecture on my part of course.
Simon, I don't think there has been any confirmation on a DVD set as of yet though it's only a matter of time. IMO, they should be in the order Tim sees fit. Fox may see otherwise.
I'm not sure, Simon. I think he was mulling the idea of making some slight changes, but I don't really remember.

Sometimes I think I want to make a The Inside FAQ page to explain the viewing order, what Tim means by "canceled" and that it makes me nuts when people call him, "Timmy." Or worse, "Timmah."
