Why you should watch Firefly. "Every time you support a canceled Fox show, somewhere a network executive loses his wings." Funniest article in ages, watch the new trailer then go read this.

Since when does a network TV executive have wings? Horns on his head, maybe, but not wings. But you have to respect someone who says we should watch "Firefly" because "it has whores and preachers" and "how much Stargate can you watch". I'm convinced

Sadly that just means they are a) now qualified to descent to network president or b) join W&H.

Please note that scenario a and scenario b are not mutually exclusive. In fact some would say there is a sort of Ben and Glory connection.

Yeah, completely true. Actually, I think the first season of 24 did have one or two hours that weren't constant action and instead brought the story on a little further, so I'm surprised it wasn't aborted in its first season. Perhaps Fox weren't paying attention at the time?

Chris, that is a splendid piece...like others here, I've sent the link to many other people...finally got an old friend to watch (sent him a spare DVD)....had been priming him for a couple of years with choice dialogue...After he watched Serenity Parts 1 and 2 he was so excited he just kept on watching...his email the next morning began, First, the only thing I can say is "thank you."

This article will be very, very helpful in getting people involved...mega kudos to you!
