Joss posts about Comic-Con (reg required) and the Browncoat booth. And his CLOSE PERSONAL FRIENDS. And my english is terrible.

Ok, I didn't really get what he was talking about in most of that post. Guess you had to be there. Nice of him to drop by the Brown Board, anyway.

And gossi - "stalkeresque"?

Hmph.
Willowy - you beat me to it. "Stalkeresque" caught my eye too! Not sure I like that really.....
I was kidding. Joss loves us really, and I love you all too.

I apologise for calling you all stalkers, because I'd like to point out I'm a bigger stalker than any of you put together. I even stalk my cat. She hates me.
Stalkeresque, *snicker*... all in good fun, folks. ~goes off to stalk~
Impressive stalk zeitgeist, way better than slithering away like Nathan ;)
I thought stalkeresque was pretty funny. It has just a little truth in it to make the connection. I mean, we ALL send out feelers to the four corners of the Net looking for indications of Whedonesque (his works, not board) goodness and bring the evidence home here for all to see.

And gossi, I keep reading all your good works and keep forgetting to thank you for keeping us in the loop. So thank you, friend.
I'm so tickled Joss loved the postcard! If'n ya want to take a peek at the card, there it is. Our charity event was to support Equality Now which works to empower women across the globe, so we wanted to represent how Joss empowers women through his work... actual design and layout by my inexcusably talented kid brother, Danny.
miyu_tVP - I. Love. That. Postcard.

Do you have a high resolution version? Do you mind if I use it?
>Do you mind if I use it?<

--eyes gossi suspiciously-- for what exactly? are your intentions noble?

;) just stalling. I will have to get back to my more technically-inclined brother and make sure he's OK with releasing it and have him put a high-res together.

xiexie! glad you like it!
What was Joss talking about?

I WILL EAT HIS GARBAGE! LONG LIVE STALKERESQUE!
I love the card too, miyu_tVP. Swiped a couple extra so I could have one a work, one at home, etc.. Beautiful!

And I think Joss is talking about the panel because it was very short and the questions from the audience were not extremely helpful. For anyone who attended last year's Serenity panel, this one was a bit disappointing. Last year in a smaller room they had an entire hour and Joss had some prepared questions for the cast that were great. This year in the giant barn (where I waited for 3 hours before the panel and still got a crappy seat) the hour was hoarded by Slither and then in the little time our BDH's had left, the questions were a bit lame. IMO.
Chirp, thank you for making me laugh today! That one's t-shirt worthy.
xiexie, SG - glad you like!

Suddenly I'm not feeling bad at all about missing the panel cuz I was stuck at the table. I think the table got WAY more action than the panel from what I'm hearing. Joss (twice), John Cassaday, Brett Matthews (twice), Johnathan Woodward, Shawna Trpcic, Keith DeCandido, Glenn Yeffeth, Margaret Weiss.... (I know I'm forgetting some names -- my brain is fried!) not to mention the whole ticket feeding-frenzy thing. Good times!
Hmmm.... Joss as Kong. Sort of tough to picture...

New York, 1938

The curtains are drawn apart, and audience is treated to 40-foot tall (and very non-plussed) Joss Whedon.

Barney: "Look at the size of that platform!"
My favorite part of his post was this...

My complaint is much like anyone else's: not enough time with the cast. They flew in, they flew out -- I felt like Lois Lane.

And what's he talking about regarding a question about the Angel RPG (I assume he means the table top game...if he meant an actual Angel video game RPG I'd be on Cloud 9).
Would someone please transfer this to Whedonesque? I can't find it on that site. Thanks.
aver, As folks were kind enough to tell me, go to the Serenity site, sign in, come back here-without signing out of the browncoats site, click on the link and it will take you directly there. Hope this helps.
Thanks ever so, newcj-that's driven me crazy in the past, I'm just not intuitive in these matters. Oh, how I love the Jossian frankness when things aren't right. Diplomatic and funny, but honest. I hope for a better experience at DragonCon- not so overwhelmingly huge a room, for instance.
