MTV UK aired Serenity trailer..
unfortunately they only showed about 30 seconds of it. Then, in the following programme they showed it again - this time reediting the trailer to show the end at the beginning, talking over it, saying it was like Star Trek and added a caption saying the movie is made by Fox.
Still, I can believe Fox made the trailer since they showed the beginning at the end.
In fairness to The Powers That Be here, they did hand over the trailer and managed to get it on TV - unfortunately MTV decided to take a hacksaw to it.
It did look *lovely* on TV, as it features all new CGI. Weee. They did talk up the film lots, also.

Well, great to see it on T.V.! what was the context of the first showing btw? I missed that one!

It is, of course, very good news it made some kind of mainstream TV, with a good potential demographic.
And also, MTV also trashed the King Kong trailer which followed it, talking over it ("I liked the T-Rex most" - back to the love bit here) and also recutting it.

Hah.
And, wait, all new CGI? From what? The trailer we all downloaded? The screenings of the film? What new CGI?
Must know.

I guess this could easily become Firefly/Serenity's signature: to be broadcast completely upside down.
I'm waiting for the bonus, on the DVD, which will show the movie with scenes in random order. :P

I thought he said A Team. Although being an American and not completely acquainted with British accents, I could be wrong.

And yes he did say A-Team. I watched TRL in between watching the Replacement.
