Buffy Roleplaying Game Revised Corebook on sale now and available as an ebook from DriveThruRPG.com before the print edition reaches stores (hopefully in the next month).

Was I the only one to read this as "Revised Cookbook"?

Has Buffy ever cooked anything? Apart from the Doublemeat burgers?
Thanksgiving dinner...at least once.
Breakfast cereals, "saw it on the food channel"
I thought it said cookbook too.
Buffy cooking *scares* me. O.O

On the RPG side, does anyone know how this "Revised Corebook" differs from the original "Corebook"?
Tara could contribute with a recipe for pancakes cooked in funny shapes (or rounds)... :)

Sorry to veer off topic! *giggles*

Out of curiosity, are there many Buffy gamers out there?
I own some decks/packs (cuz they were dead cheap), but don't have a clue how to play! Maybe I'm a core demographic for the book, eh?

I much prefer the X Box Buffy games. Wish there was more!
Maybe that's why SMG became so thin on the show. Not enough cooking! Giles, Xander, and Dawn snacked often, but how many times did we actually see Buffy eat?
I don't play the BtVS RPG, but I love the Playstation games. Chaos Bleeds was terrific - loved being able to play as the other characters as well as Buffy.
I still maintain that we need an Buffy MMORG, you could be a vamp, a Slayer, Watcher etc. 1000s of fans online in a virtual Buffyverse, it would be amazing.
Before anyone buys the ebook version it might be wise to bit of reading up on DriveThruRPG.com. I'll start you off with this boing boing link. Ebook DRM is a nasty uncharted world of horrors.

Edit: Just checked the site and it is being offered as a watermarked pdf.

Various errata has been corrected, and the seasonal rundowns go all the way to Season Seven (the original printing went to Season Five).

For the card game? They're not connected.

Seems like a great dimension in which to set an Illyria/Faith movie.
I've got the original Core, I just need to get my players to sit down and play- I bought it in May and we split up for the summer a week later. Bah. But it looks interesting.

I was considering doing a Buffy/Dresden Files cross-over, because that just seems full of potential.
Good luck kishi!
