Serenity Movie Site Changed. The website for the movie, Serenity, have been updated. It now looks like the poster.

A new wallpaper is also posted among other things.

Any idea why on the new site, the ship occasionally flashes white? I thought it might be an easter egg link or something, but apparently not.

Pointless bit of design? Or is it going to be a link to something eventually?

Mmmm, it's a conspiracy I tell ya.

I have JOINED that site a couple of times--NEVER getting any emails from them and when I go to the site and try to look at download etc--I get that fist thing.

How can I SEE the site?

It just makes it look all flash and groovy. Maybe it'll eventually lead to something but right now it's just a gimmick thingy! I love this site too!

For those here in Britain, I did some tinkering to make the newer wallpaper more UK-specific in terms of the release date.

Hope it helps with any guerilla marketing campaigns!

rivergirl, I think the problem you're having viewing the site is that your pop-up blocker is turned on. The downloads and everything on the main movie page open in new windows. As far as getting e-mails, I think the last time I got one was when Joss announced the first round of preview screenings.

Hopefully, lots of new people will visit the site after seeing the trailer. I think it's so much more appealing now than just the black background and Serenity logo.

Yeah I dig the new design, I liked the old design but I always wondered if people would want to see a movie with a site that just had a logo on it.
