I love how into his character Adam is. Every time I think about any one of these characters, I think, "this guy is such an asset so the show on the whole". And then I think, "Well, wait they all are". This entire thing is just a grand slam home run in my book.

I can imagine Joss' big moments for Jayne coming a season or two down the line. Jayne betrays the ship, then realizes how much he loved the familial nature of it-- some he lacks in every other life he's had-- and from then on, he's a puppy dog. But with teeth.
