Joss is 30% thread-starting, girl-touching rock star! Our man Joe Sweden strikes again. Mostly to re-clarify that he really, seriously, guys, will NOT be at DragonCon. (Reg. req.)

sign me up for FerretCon! :D
Wow, I've got a pretty long name, I guess I'd better get to Nathan early before all the prime real estate is taken.
Still sad about no Jossness, but have traversed the stages successfully- anger, denial, bargaining and finally, acceptance.
"They're outnumbered, outgunned, and have no skills... Wow, they're gonna DIE!"

Totally hilarious Joss. And I liked Stealth and The Island.
Well then, SpikeBad... Nevermind.
I said I liked Stealth and The Island. But I'm sure I'll LOVE Serenity.
Ha! All good. I actually loved RavenU's ones, they were mighty funny too.
You liked Stealth?

At any rate, I have to miss DragonCon, so now I feel a mite better. Joe Sweden (I love that, by the way) is hilarious as always.
Ah, I was just kiddin.
I pretty much liked the effects in the movie. I've allways been a big action fan. The best character in the whole movie though was Edi (AKA) Tin Man, and he wasn't even human.
"They're outnumbered, outgunned, and have no skills... Wow, they're gonna DIE!"

That's so Wash, it reminds me of that "Who's piloting this ship?".

"If you loved "Stealth" or "the Island".... um, actually never mind. It's not important."

Hey I liked the Island... it was one of those disastrous fun-ish movies. And hey, they let Ewan McGregor speak scotish english.... but wait:

"Meet Malcolm Reynolds. He hates Scottish People." (I totally lobbied against that one.)

... oh now i get it.
I can see that Joss's Veronica Mars love hasn't diminished one bit. His thread title is a total shout-out.
"To Infinity... and then it's a left, half a block, house with the blue trim."

Still laughing. It must be exhausting being this witty all the time.
Seeing how he co-wrote Toy Story, I can totally see him using the Infinity line.
Hang on, somebody LIKED Stealth? Oh my! :)
I wanna get tickets to ferretcon, but I can't find a website!
this is strange ... I'm going to DragonCon with a friend (who is a guest at the Con) and she contacted the Con people and they say Joss is coming and has been paid ... someone somewhere has wires crossed..... too bad .... I was looking forward to seeing him.
embers, try looking under "I call the big one Bitey!"
"It's smaller than DragonCon, but feisty when it's cornered."

It's far too easy to amuse me sometimes. *wipes coffee off screen*

That's what happens when you steal your movie from someone else's earlier movie.
"To Infinity... and then it's a left, half a block, house with the blue trim."

Good gawd, I laughed my butt off with that one!

My dad gave me a strange look.

I'm still seeing very recent reports on LJs that Universal are telling Dragon*Con that Joss is coming. There's some serious crossed wires here.
Sigh, people please stop worrying, there are no crossed wires - it is obviously a Joss clone that is appearing at DragonCon.

Man, haven’t you guys watched the Island? It’s a documentary and it explains in a very scientific but accessible way all you need to know about cloning.

Don’t worry though, halfway through the con the clone will explode while being chased by a stealth plane (which unfortunately you won’t be able to see) and a marauding commando unit of stealth ferrets (which unfortunately you also won’t be able to see, but I strongly suggest at this point you make sure your trouser legs are secured, because you know, ferrets up the trousers not so much fun, unless you live in Hollywood, in which case you’d probably pay for that sort of thing.)

I have seen what happens in the aforementioned documentary and the truth is out there.

As indeed am I.
Miranda, you may be (out there) but you've got me giggling along behind you. I haven't seen the island but I've seen the trailer a couple of times so I think I see where you're coming from.
Can the Joss clone write? I can see a Multiplicity situation where the fifth or sixth generation clone can just about write "Spaceship go boom!" with a crayon. And becomes a staff writer on Charmed.
"And becomes a staff writer on Charmed."

Aha! zz9, you point out the obvious. I CAN get a job writing. It's that easy.
Prosperina, what's the VM reference from? I saw a good number of the season 1 episodes, but I definitely don't get this reference...
It's from Like a Virgin, the one with the purity tests sweeping the highschool.

WALLACE: So, did you take the purity test? [Off Veronica's offended look] Yeah, me neither. Stupid, right.
VERONICA: What'd you score?
WALLACE: Seventy.
VERONICA: Wow, you are 30% danger-lovin', girl-touchin' rock star.

Wallace is an embarrassing 70% pure.
I'm amazed at how few posts Joss has gotten in reply?! If that had been on here, the thread count would be in the hundreds by now.
Thanks dreamlogic – I never saw that episode, but now that I see the context, I love Joss's reference.
And Warren built a robot-Joss to go to DragonCon.

It sounded funny when I thought it?

Edited to add: I just figured out the neatest thing. If you click the link to a Browncoat forum link (like this one) and you're not signed in, try this. Sign in, hit enter/click OK, go "Back" on your browser and hit "Refresh". It gets you to the actual post!

Well, I thought it was neat.
