The story may seem "complete" by the movie's end, but we all know Joss can find ways to blindside us with future stories. He finds angles we never knew could exist!

I don't think I've ever seen a review of a movie where they complained about it being too complete and not leaving enough story lines dangling before. Personally I think there is plenty more to write about.

Yeah, me too. I thought this was a good thing. It's better than throwing too much info into the movie, and leaving most of the unaswered.
What was he expecting, a Matrix Reloaded sort of ending?

People who've seen the movie (and the spoiled people, like me), know that Joss, still left lots of dangling points from the show, that's still unaswered in the movie.
And he treated the movie, like he treated every season of his shows, as if it would be the last one, and so it would have to suffice by itself.



Like the end of "Chosen", right? It's the end of This Chapter. But the future still goes on.

I didn't bother to read all of this review, but I couldn't help notice that this guy actually complained that the TV series was too "episodic."

I mean, they are called "episodes" so a certain amount of episodicness (episodicosity?) is kind of inevitable. Just try to please some people....
