(SPOILER) Anthony Stewart Head to play a familiar role in Doctor Who? Inviso-text spoilers reveal ASH may have a role in the revived British sci-fi series. About 3/5 of the way down the page.

The yellow traffic light means that the rumor is likely true, but not yet 100% confirmed. Writer Johnston is the #1 comic book universe rumor mill guy.

previously linked as: http://whedonesque.com/comments/7332, though its from a diff source (Auntie Beeb). The inviso-text actually reveals a big spoiler (which is what the traffic light refers to, methinks) for the series, not whether Tony will be in it, which has been confirmed by the BBC. Yipes!

Haven't watched Dr. Who for years... can someone tell us more about this role he might be playing? Invisotext please...

As a regularly reader of that collumn, the traffic light refers to whether or not the rumor has any truth to it and has nothing to do whether it's a spoiler or not. This big rumor has been going around for the past week or so and so far no one from the BBC has commented on it, which has only added more fuel to the fire.

If the rumour is true. It's a big one. Wow!

I've really liked what I have seen of the first season.
Didn't this rumour originally come from that bastion of truth The Daily Star?
Simon, maybe. But Rich Johnston would have put it under a red light were it less than reputable. This is his livelihood, so accountability matters.
Oooh! That would be so cool!
Yeah I read Johnston's column all the time, preferred the revamp he tried to do but I enjoy the gossipy items as well.
