Go figure - Stars, Toys, Fandom and Sci-Fi. Toronto Star article featuring Adam Baldwin and James Marsters. There's also Joss Whedon, Serenity and AtS mentions. Registration may be required to read.

Nice article on Sci Fi and fandom, lots of Whedonverse references.

I fleshed out your subject line a little bit. Very good article btw.
A very nice piece that actually features interesting and reflective comments from James and Adam instead of a rehashed mish-mosh of older interviews. Although I'm having a hard time actually picturing AB saying with a straight face: "I'm very excited to be immortalized in plastic" . . .
Great article! I liked the mention of the Firefly DVD's selling two gazillion copies! LOL! :)
I'm thinking that face was a little crooked!
Very nice article! Thanks, debw.

Yeah, I think whether or not AB's face was straight, there was laughter behind the words. ;-)
Marlene Arpe is a Whedon fan which certainly helps. I got in touch with her when we had the preview screening and it resulted in a BIG article on the screening and the fans. (Written by someone else), so I'm not surprised she wrote a good article.
Really enjoyed reading that. Wish we could see more of that sort of coverage in the mainstream press.
Fun read! Loved hearing all Adam's comments about Serenity and how he wants it to well more because he's a fan and not because he's in it. He truly seems like such a nice guy!
What people may not know is that this article -- in the print edition -- was flanked by two huge pictures of the Jayne and Spike action figures: Jayne with the cigar and multiple guns, and Spike in vampire mode with a shotgun. The figures ran full depth of the entire Entertainment section front (called What's On on Thursdays). And it was the only story thereon.

Nice.
Does anyone have a scan of the print edition? We'd love to have a copy to add to our press book since they show our Serenity figure.
