New Zealand Serenity screenings announced. "Tickets for special advance screenings of SERENITY will be on sale in New Zealand from Thursday 1 September". Req required for link.

Hey we didn't get forgotten! Yay! Now the dilemma. Do I try and get a ticket to the screening in Wellington, then have to drive there and back on a monday night, or can I wait for another 2 1/2 weeks for it to premiere in my home town?
Of course if it were possible Joss was going to appear in Wellington, there would be no choice! He's talking to Rove on September 13 in Melbourne, that's only a three hour flight away! its possible he'd be in NZ on the 19th? OK, Possibly starting to get a little excited here. Concentrating may become difficult today. Gossi, you don't know anything more do you? Anyone?
I literally know nothing about this I'm afraid, sorry.
Do you know that means every Firefly fan bar me will have seen the movie it comes out on general release :p.
Don't worry, Simon, you're not alone!
Look on the bright side Simon, you'll have the whole cinema to yourself!

Okay, not really what you wanted to hear...
DC theaters will be busy, zz9...I will make sure of it!
Oh Simon, that really does seriously suck! I honest to God think there is something so spectacular about viewing it with so many other BC's. I'm forcing my neice to come next wednesday for that very reason.*sympathy hugs Simon*

Congrats to the NZ BC's also!!

edit to add: Simon did you notice that IESB have appologized to you in their letter to Firefly Fans Here

Yeah I saw. Seemed a whole kerfuffle kicked off when I was sleeping. My only comment is that it's time to move and put this all behind us. No good will come from going over what happened.
Simon, I have no idea what the kerfuffle is to which you refer (actually I don't even know what a kerfuffle is), but you strike me as a wise man to just let it go and move on.
Isn't a kerfuffle like a souffle? Or maybe a quiche. Real men don't kerfuffle? Something like that, I think.
