The final colour cover for the "Serenity" TPB by Adam Hughes. The trade paperback from Dark Horse Comics is scheduled to be in stores January 25, 2006. Also another reminder of to check out Adam Hughes' website for details on how to win a piece of original artwork by Hughes if you see Serenity on it's opening weekend.

A coloured version of the cover has been seen before, but it was not the final version and Adam Hughes has since put some very cool finishing touches on the it. Plus there's a close up of Mal's face to see how nicely detailed the artwork and colours are.

At least Mal doesn't look so much like Ted Striker anymore! And good move to put more light behind his head. And Inara, well done.
He gave Mal his chin back :)
It looks great and I am really looking forward to this trade paperback. I will buy the single issues if I happen to see them, but I will definitely be getting this.
Looks great!! Wasn't too keen on the first one 'cause Mal looked kind of funny but he now looks like Mal. Love the contest idea too!
Funny how the entertainment community works.
Just read that Adam Hughes is the artist handling the art for "All Star Wonder Woman", a new title from DC Comics, for their very accessible and high profile "All Star" comics line.

This title will debut sometime next year, which will probably be the year we'll be hearing lots more about Joss' work on the Wonder Woman movie.
Mal looks more Malish that he did in the comics
Huge improvement to Inara's appearance, this is a very pretty cover, I will be happy to own it (I wish this was coming out before Christmas, I have a lot of friends who would love it as a gift).
I love this cover. Mal looks great and it's a beautiful layout. This is a must buy simply to get the cover!

Adam Hughes is also the one who did the teaser poster for the Wonder Woman movie when it was announced that Joss was writing and directing it. I wouldn't be surprised if Joss had Hughes doing the final poster for Wonder Woman and other art work for the movie.
At this time, Adam hasn't heard anything from Joss about any work going forward regarding the Wonder Woman film. But our understanding was that Joss was focusing all his efforts on Serenity, and not doing anything with Wonde Woman til that is done.
