Carpe Demon. According to the blurb, it "shows you what would happen if Buffy got married and kept her past a secret." Has anyone read it? It's supposedly being made into a movie.

Don't think much of the prose, and it reads like someone wrote some fanfic then used the replace function of Word to change the name of the main character.

And if someone's going to spend money making this into a movie why not ask Joss to do the real thing?

I've read it, and we touched on it briefly over on flickr.

It's pretty good. It starts out really witty and "slice of life"-y, but it loses steam about halfway through. I had to push myself to finish it. I got bored. And the ending was pat and rushed.

Decent enough beginning...but it starts to lose it's charm quickly.

Plus, the reveal? Not so revealing as much as it was predictable.

Chris Columbus did well on Doubtfire. Probably mostly thanks to Robin Williams though.
