James Marsters updates his site. James congratulates David on the great premiere of his new series and talks about the fundraiser for Hurricane relief.

That's a really nice update , thanking the fans for their efforts, congratulating David B and then giving us a little Smallville snippet. James really is a class act!
So true deb, and I love to hear that he's found the character, it sounds really promising for his appearance on Smallville.

Yes I 'm glad that Braniac has been found , I didn't realise that he was lost in the first place! I'm such a bad fan, all that time wasted when I could have been organising search parties.

Seriously I'm really looking forward to seeing James in a new role . I'm sure that he's going to do just fine.
He and the producer are certainly making SMALLVILLE sound more interesting with every post.
What a nice and humble acknowledgement of fan’s efforts. He was under no obligation to mention David’s success, so that was also…uh, I hate to keep saying *nice* but it was. Jeez, doesn’t he know he’s supposed to be all self-centered and jealous when things go well for anyone other than himself? ;-)

I was a bit ‘why? why? ugh!’ when I learned he was going to be on Smallville, but the little bit I know about the character and what he’ll be doing on the show has me moving from reluctant acceptance to anticipation.

He wont be doing Fine, he'll be doing Clark and Lex and..... ;0)
I think one thing that is obvious about James IMHO is that he is not your typical celebrity. He alway seems to be very humble and very appreciative of his fans and co workers. Most 'stars' are so self absorbed they never see fit to praise anyone but themselves, but James always seems genuinely happy for the success of his friends...never bitter or jealous.

I think it's very sweet that he or whoever mans the site for him, takes the time to thank the fans for their support. I know it makes me feel good about anything I do to support him.

I am also very happy to see his enthusiasm for his new role. If James is happy about this I have NO doubts that he will do an excellent job with this part. I truly hope that he DOES get noticed and this leads to much more for him. He really deserves it.
To steal from the Sean Maher post (and paraphrase):

"wherever James goes, I follow"
