More details on Serenity Fan Fest at Uni Studios Hollywood. Much more detailed info on this thread topic, including a $15-off coupon to print out.

Serenity FanFest
Saturday 24th September
2:00pm to 4:00pm
Universal Studios Hollywood

Meet Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy and Angel), members of the cast from his upcoming film Serenity and the behind-the-scenes team responsible for the film’s dazzling visual effects.

And this from the Serenity OB:
...have the chance to view props and set pieces from the film (including the MULE hovercraft!). The event takes place inside the theme park and will feature a Q&A from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m., followed by an autograph session from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

How do we buy tickets?
at the box office (is that what you call it for a theme park?).... uh ticket center... near/next to the entrance to the park, i dont remember its been a while since ive been there
Zeppo- You can buy tickets online, but the $15-off coupon has to be presented with payment at the box office for the discount. There's a report on the Firefly OB that local Ralph's grocery stores will sell Universal Studios tickets that include all-you-can-eat food passes.

The official link also says "Admission to Serenity events included with General Admission."

The park is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. that day.
How are "tickets limited"? Theme Parks don't sell out, and it says this is included with general admission.
Tickets to the park are unlimited but, space for the Serenity Q&A and autograph session is very limited.
TamaraC, how do we insure our spot at the q&a?
I think the only way to insure a spot is to get there early and queue up. If I hear anything different I will post it at the SoCal Browncoat yahoo board.
k thanks! see you all there.
Dude, I'm now actually planning to be in LA on the 24th. But get there early to beat out all the other enthusiastic Browncoats when the thing starts at 2PM and I have to drive down from SF that morning? Erk...why do I have the feeling I won't get in? =(
This looks very cool; you guys have fun! Bring us back a full report, OK?
