Anyway... great interview. The fact that she mentioned that RK kept changing his mind about certain scenes kinda makes me take a step back on this movie. I don't know... things like this make me kind of doubtful or the director's ability to handle great storytelling. Alas, I'm trusting that his Donnie Darko experience will prove me otherwise.
I actually looked into the "I'll Always Remember What You Did Last Summer" on IMDB. Lo and behold, the girl playing the Buffy ripoff on Smallville next year, Brooke Nevin, is in this movie. Maybe she really wants to be SMG?

That's the line that will get me to see this movie. How can anyone read that and not want to know what the hell is going on? The ice cream part is what seals it for me, really.

Oh, man. The fact that Freddie told her she didn't understand what kind of hard work he does really did bug me. Hello, 7 years, plus years and years before that, working non-stop on soaps, movies, Buffy, movies.... ugh!

I don't think she was implying that he didn't understand, more like he had forgotten that she worked on television and was once on her feet all day. It has very little to do with not understanding how hard she worked on BtVS and more to do with selective memory about the duration of work and the hours that she worked for all those years. She has been doing a couple movies per year much like he used to. She stated that they've switched places because he's the one who complains and says "You're doing a movie, I've been on my feet all day. You wouldn't understand" whereas she's the one who in theory should end up saying "no I probably don't" that is, if she hadn't worked on a one hour series for several years; so instead of being resigned to the statement "I probably don't" she's happily entitled to sarcastically reminding him just of that particular fact.
The situation is rather comical...
Anywho...great interview though still a bit all over the place. I was confused by the about.com one at first then realized a. it was heavily edited and b. duh, she was probably in a room fielding questions from a number of interviewers not actually doing a conventional one-on-one interview. This one clears things up a great deal.

No, but other characters do.
