The official track listing for David Newman's 'Serenity' score is now online, but beware big spoilers in the titles!
Varese Sarabande has posted both the cover art as well as the official track listing for David Newman's score to 'Serenity' - there are spoilers in the titles, so avoid if you don't want to know about the plot.

Why would they do that? Why wouldn't they come up with something nice and poetical instead of outright spoilers? I was lucky enough to attend a screening, but I bet there'll be more than one Browncoat out there to see the soundtrack in a store, pick it up, read the back and get all spoiled.
Track titles aside, I can't wait can't wait can't wait for this soundtrack.

Each of its tracks are named after a different kind of bat (I guess part of the latin name for them), which is sorta cool. Good on Warner Music for letting the composer get away with that (or perhaps it was a smart exec's idea. I know they're out there, smart execs. Mary Parent who aquired Joss for Universal, a few others).

Well, composers name their own cues, so blame David Newman.
