(SPOILER) Joss article in Australian newspaper The Age. Nice article with plenty of Wonder Woman and feminism questions. Very minor spoilers only.

When people say to me, 'Why are you so good at writing at women?' I say, 'Why isn't everybody?' Obviously there are differences between men and women - that's what makes it all fun. But we're all people.

Amen!

This has always been a long-held position of mine as well - we're all people. We feel things the same but express them differently - and that goes to gender and age and race and religion and home town and country of origin, which is where the real differences lie.

We're all people. So as long as you're writing people and not caricatures or cliches then you're okay. 'Cause men and women - they're as much alike as they are different!
There was also a good interview with Joss in the colour sup for "The West Australian" yesterday. Good interview for newbies and a fairly cool pic of Joss looking very suave 007-ish!
I saw that!
Oh Catalyst scan it for the rest of us!
Cool quote about Roseanne. I don't think I ever remember Joss mentioning anything she's said before. I don't really remember much about the show, but I want to go back now and watch Joss's episodes.
One of my favourite episodes of Roseanne - about Darlene and her writing - was written by Joss Whedon. Well, it was credited to him. The only other thing I've ever heard him say about his time on Roseanne was that he was re-written a lot. (Which seems amazing to me now, but of course when you start out in the biz being re-written is what it's all about!)
