(SPOILER) It's good to be a Buffy fan in Mars. This season on Veronica Mars: Alyson Hannigan, Charisma Carpenter, and Joss Whedon.

" 'She's [Alyson] asked to guest direct one of the Neptune High School theater productions, but that ends up being not all that's going on and believe me, we'll bend over backwards to put her and Charisma in a scene together,' Thomas said."

I love that Rob Thomas recognizes the importance of putting them in a scene together. He's the coolest writer not named Whedon! :-)
