'Serenity' now for sci-fi fans. A great article about the "Serenity"/"Firefly" saga from Reuters/Hollywood Reporter. "This is really a classic underdog story in every way, and I think I'm safe in saying this is the finest film ever made."

Can't remember if this was posted before, but it seems new to me, even though there isn't any additional info that we didn't know before.

Note, that quote comes from Joss. He was probably also joking (although, don't get me wrong, it is a brilliant film and all).
Well, I really wish the "Hollywood Reporter" picked up on the fact that he was joking, because that quote could come back to bite him in the rear-end.
Well, he is full of funny comments so it should be fairly clear, I think. My favourite is this one -"They're a diverse group, fairly well-adjusted socially, and I expect that a lot of them are even having sex".
Well, quotes often get taken out of context by people trying to discredit something, unfortunately. It's like all the articles we've seen saying Nathan is copying Harrison Ford - that was a one liner joke at the Serenity Edinburgh press junket which has appeared in about 4 articles now.

That said, it's no major problem.
When I read the quote in the subject line I thought it was a reviewer and thought to myself "my, he's a bit over-enthusiastic".
Yeah, that Harrison Ford comment has been really annoying me. This time, I knew straight off the bat that Joss was joking but of course they didn't mention that and not everyone would realise he wasn't being serious.

I love "They're a diverse group, fairly well-adjusted socially, and I expect that a lot of them are even having sex" too, I will definitely be adding that to my Joss quotes list. Is there nothing this man can't do? He's a writer, director, occasionally an actor, and he should definitely be doing stand up comedy.
This article is now in Yahoo news as well. It is spreading nicely.
I have remained utterly spoiler free. I haven't even seen a trailer for it, thanks in part to turning off broadcast TV after the last episode of Angel aired. Not so much as a single frame, sound clip, anything.

I'll probably have to go back to this site and begin reading all of the spoiler-tagged articles I passed up in the last few months.

I'm practically twitching in anticipation. Some 80 hours hence, I'll be seeing Serenity (and then going back probably twice this weekend). I'm gushing, but ... wow! SERENITY NOW!
