Serenity novelisation by Keith R.A. DeCandido now available in Australia... ...and from the brief flip-through I've had, it's well worth the buy, particularly if you want to relive the movie in the privacy of your own home.

Thanks for the link Thomas but damnit! My local A&R were absolutely adamant that there would be be no Australian release "according to their contacts at the publishers"!!!!

So I ordered an import which is still about 5 weeks away. Crap!!

They also said the Visual Companion was never going to be released here either - maybe that was BS too?!

My copy finally arrived this morning, just in time as I've just finished reading the Visual Companion. Now I've got a week to read this before we finally get Serenity :)

I'd say the visual companion will definitely make its way here.

Don't go through A&R - try Dymocks! That's where I found my copy of the novelisation.
