(SPOILER) His future, his terms - "They took his screenwriting credit from Speed and messed up his Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) in Alien: Resurrection. TV execs shot down his space-western series Firefly in 2003; then drove a stake through the heart of his Buffy TV spinoff Angel a year later."

"his beloved Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie script was given a sickening, silly twist on the big screen."

I checked off Spoilers because he does touch on the movie a bit.

He's the little man that could! Nice read, Firefly Flanatic. Thanks. I love Joss.
At least for now, it is unlikely Buffy will again take up slaying or anyone will find out how Angel fared against that demon horde in the series finale.

"I'm more into the new guys," Whedon said. "I need to go beyond what I've done before, if only to prove to myself I can do it."

Well, except for that Spike movie, right Joss?
i adore all the previous and current characters & stories, but i'm on board for anything new from Joss, any time, any place, and i'm there. there is literally no other modern story teller that holds my attention the way he does.
