Universal holding Serenity ticket stub raffle. More incentive to see the movie again this week (reg req).

Copied/pasted:

"Here's a chance to win an international Serenity poster signed by Summer, Jewel, Gina, Adam, Nathan, Morena, Sean and Joss and a Serenity Prize Pack (bandana, chopsticks, window cling, mug, patch). How do you enter? Mail your Serenity ticket stubs dated between Monday October 3 - Sunday October 9 to Serenity Leader, with your name phone number and email address either written on the back of your stub or on an attached sheet of paper. Looks like Universal is still counting on Browncoats to carry this movie. Where are all the ads with the rave reviews that'll get new people into the theaters?

I can see the Browncoats participating in this raffle, but it doesn't really reach beyond the fandom. We need the cast members on talk shows. Plus, advertising (both print and tv) that points out all the rave reviews.
Sounds good. I wonder does this apply to Browncoats worldwide?

There is also the ticket stub competition to win the Adam Hughes artwork. I wonder which I should enter? Or divide the tickets between the two?
Sorry, Razor, but the last part of the above blurb reads: "*Sorry, we can only accept ticket stubs from U.S. and Canadian theaters.*"
I'm sure this contest may apply to all Browncoats, no matter where.
I'm also disappointed that even Nathan or Adam hasn't been invited to any of the talk shows...and yet Jessica Alba is everywhere (although this would be good under certain conditions). That's why a big second week would be very helpful.
They have already changed the rules and conditions to this contest. It now only applies to tickets purchased over the the days of Oct 7-9th. The new posting reads thusly:

The all-important second weekend of Serenity in theaters fast approaches. We know you are planning on taking everyone you know to the film, and now that dedication can pay off! Send in your Serenity ticket stubs for a chance to win cool Serenity prizes! One lucky winner will get an international Serenity poster signed by Summer, Jewel, Gina, Adam, Nathan, Morena, Sean and Joss, an official Serenity Tshirt and a Serenity Prize Pack (bandana, chopsticks, window cling, mug, patch). Five runners-up will get Serenity Prize Packs. How do you enter? Mail your Serenity ticket stubs dated between Friday October 7 - Sunday October 9 to Serenity Leader, with your name phone number and email address either written on the back of your stub or on an attached sheet of paper. The more ticket stubs you enter, the more chances you will have to win! Remember, the stubs must be dated from Friday October 7 - Sunday October 9 to be entered. All entries must be postmarked by October 11th to be eligible. Winners will be selected by a random drawing. *Sorry, we can only accept ticket stubs from U.S. and Canadian theaters.* Please mail your tickets to:

Serenity Leader

New York, NY 10003
Ends Oct 10, 2005
Booster Entertainment is also having a ticket stub contest. The idea is borrowed from Sean Harry- whoever has the most Serenity ticket stubs at the Flanvention in December will get in to all the Booster Entertainment events free, for life.
It may only reach browncoats, but it'll get the obsessive fans to be more so- so I think ticket raffles are a good idea.

I'm going to enter!
