How very cool...maybe now we'll start getting more Spike comics. Just wish we could get some future Spike stories though, but still, this is great news. Now if they are smart they better PRINT enough copies this time !!!!!!

More Spike is always good. I hope he goes with a different artist though. Maybe the guy doing the Angel comics. He's a bit stiff and sometimes it's hard to follow, but otherwise he's decent.

Are you sure you didn't just watch the trailer?;-) Nope, he didn't 'serve' with the Naizs either. He'd gotten kidnapped by Nazis who wanted to experiment with vampires. So he and some other vamps killed a bunch of them.

As for this comic, eh, I was let down by PAD's first one, (certainly by the art) and I could do without the constant Bela Lugosi references but the story of Spike and Dracula is an excellent choice of topic so here's hoping.

With regard to future Spike comics, if they want to avoid doing any post NFA stories they can still do ones of him souled during S5 of ATS. I'd love to know what he got up to away from W&H. There would be plenty of stories of how he was helping the helpless, and listening to the Sex Pistols, while the others were working for Evil Inc.

Therefore, not post NFA but with a souled Spike. Two birds, one stone.

Maybe a scene or two in Accounts Receivable's poker games. :0)

I was looking hard at Drusilla -- Bela Lugosi -- Ed Wood enumeration until saw a droll pattern: in the movie "Ed Wood" actor Bela Lugosi has been played by Martin Landau, Juliet's father.
